LEFTY is a baseball loving bear with a pretty smile. The Barnstormers have brought Lefty to life to entertain the Fans at our home-games as well as in community events. You can see LEFTY going around Fergie Jenkins Field each home-game to make you laugh. He would either be shaking his tumtum, dancing with an umpire or a Fan, having fun with a player or doing something no one would ever do…without a costume…LEFTY's commitment is to be the most admirable character of the ballpark. Out of all his outfits, he often wears the pinstriped jersey of the Barnstormers to honor the legacy of the 1934 Chatham Coloured All-Stars baseball team. He proudly wears number 24 as the inaugural IBL season of the Barnstormers is 2024.
