For me, I like to think of myself as a conduit for a message from my people...
That if we have the same access and prospects to seize opportunities.... We can and WILL do it. I may be the first indigenous person to receive this award, but I definitely won't be the last.
I have a bunch of people that make up who I am. That culmination support, effort and expertise has launched me down a path I couldn't have predicted. Many miigweches for anyone that has helped me along the way.
