The young left-hander Eric Pettitpiece is back
SIGNING ALERT!!!
The CK Barnstormers are proud to announce the return of Eric Pettipiece for the 2025 season. Eric is our first left-handed pitcher to sign for the 2025 season. This young pitcher will only be 20 years old this summer for his second IBL season. In 2024, he got the ball in 41.2 innings and was able to strikeout 22 batters. A very promising future for this young kid. Welcome back Eric.
On July 13th 2024, Eric Pettipiece set the tone for a Chatham-Kent Barnstormers double header sweep over the Hamilton Cardinals. In the first inning of the day, Pettipiece struck out the side in order (two went down looking) and allowed only 3 hits over 5 innings while striking out 6 to earn the victory and Player of the Game Honours. For the Barnstormers, that weekend was their most successful to date, winning 4 games over 3 days for the clubs only 4 game winning streak thus far in their history.
